Graviton M1 / M2 5.4.0 (Stable) Software Update

New Features:

In comparison to version 5.2.6 Stable:

  • Overall UI: Presets, Stomp, actions, messages, and Toggle LEDs are easier to read from a distance. Larger text on sparser layouts. Clearer menus and button descriptions. Snappier, smoother screen response.
  • Preset editor: Improved layout so the important buttons are easier to see and reach at a glance.
  • Preset editor: Per-preset MIDI Out selection — choose where this preset sends (e.g. preset 1 → TRS 1, preset 2 → TRS 2, plus USB / Bluetooth).
  • BPM: Quarter-step BPM (.00 / .25 / .50 / .75) for Live BPM, Song BPM, and preset MIDI Clock.
  • Clock LED: Blinks in tempo whenever MIDI Clock is being sent.
  • MIDI Clock: Improved timing — smoother generated clock on the 5-pin output for tempo-synced delays.
  • Playing Song: Engaged global stomps show On/Off clearly; the base preset keeps the selected look.
  • Playing Song: Bottom pill shows current song position in the setlist or song number out of 120 in Song Library mode.
  • Playing Song: Touch previous / next song.
  • Playing Song: Swap Song in the context menu.
  • Playing Setlist: Swap Setlist in the context menu.
  • MIDI In: Touch previous / next page control.
  • Footswitches: Plug-and-play TRS layouts for 3-button, 2-button, and 1-button footswitches — correct layout without learning.
  • Universal Footswitch: Build a custom footswitch layout with 1–10 blocks.
  • Touch Lock: Settings → Display can auto-lock the touchscreen after 5 / 10 / 30 seconds (or Off). Footswitches and controllers still work; the back button turns red — double-tap to unlock.
  • Channel Filter: Per-port Out and Through channel allowlists for DIN, TRS, USB, and Bluetooth.
  • Expression Menu: New menu structure — clearer and easier to navigate.
  • Expression Reading: Faster, smoother, more stable expression operation.
  • Expression Messages: Send current pedal position after a preset change.
  • Controller banks: Each controller follows its own bank by default.
  • Bluetooth MIDI: Receives Active Sensing, MIDI Clock, Start, Stop, and Continue again, without Through feedback loops.
  • Bluetooth Central: Improved connection stability and reconnecting after Unpair / Scan. Compatibility expanded to many more devices, including ones that require a PIN code (e.g. Roli Lightblock, Boss EV-1-WL, Eventide H90).
  • Bluetooth Peripheral: See the list of connected devices.
  • USB Host: More reliable device connection — improved enumeration timing and recovery. Works with more devices.
  • Settings: New Pedals tab for calibration.
  • Backup: Backup loading is now compatible between M1 and M2.
  • Safe Mode: After a crash loop, Boot Issue offers Safe Mode (BLE off / USB Device) plus More Options for Import / Export and resets.
  • Bank A/B: Banks 11–12 no longer disappear after reboot.
  • Setlist: Wrap Back works again when Song +/− hits the end of a setlist.
  • Encoder: CC / PC / CV tweaks persist after reboot.
  • Counter CC / PC: Live counter values persist after reboot.
  • Songs: Song BPM Off now stops the clock when that song is loaded.
  • General: Other small fixes and UI polish.

How to Update / Rollback:

  • Go to Settings > Update / Rollback and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • You can switch between Beta and the last Stable Release anytime without losing your programmed data.
  • For gigging, it’s recommended to stay on the Stable Release.
  • It’s recommended to export and store backups externally in case of emergencies.
