What’s New in V2?
- Improved Rugged Footswitches: Highly durable upgraded footswitches with a larger 10 mm head, wider footswitch topper compatibility, and quieter action.
- Low-Latency Wireless: Much lower-latency in wireless mode. Wired mode over TRS cable remains zero-latency.
- Longer Wireless Range: Improved wireless range for stage and larger setups.
- Longer Battery Life: V1 already offers extremely long battery life, and V2 improves it even further with optimized power management.
Do I Need to Upgrade?
Some V2 improvements were gradually introduced into later V1 units. Your F10W may already include some upgrades if it was purchased after these dates:
- Improved Rugged Footswitches — included after July 2025: Identified by 10 mm diameter footswitches instead of 8 mm.
- Longer Wireless Range — included after December 2025: Identified by the black antenna window at the top.
V2 is most useful if you have an older F10W, especially one purchased before July 2025, or if you want the latest hardware with the best wireless performance and latency.
